Desert-Western Formula 1 Capsule for 2025 U.S. Grand Prix
Pacsun returned to the grid for 2025 with its Formula 1 United States Grand Prix Collection—an expansive, desert-washed lineup that merged Texas western heritage with high-octane race culture. The fashion retailer revealed the capsule earlier today, confirming its return to Austin’s Circuit of The Americas in October, where the collection was once again showcased onsite during race weekend.
For its fourth consecutive year designing for the Austin race, Pacsun leaned deeper into Americana influences. The 2025 assortment introduced desert-inspired motifs, utilitarian silhouettes, and western accessories that reinterpreted Formula 1 style through a Lone Star lens. Cactus and desert-landscape graphics dominated tees and hoodies, while rugged brown cargo pants anchored the utilitarian aesthetic.
Denim—Texas’s unofficial uniform—took a starring role. The standout piece was an indigo wash jacket embellished with patches, oversized embroideries, and new race-specific artwork created with chainstitch, puff print, and embroidery techniques. Accessories expanded the storyline further: Pacsun debuted its first-ever cowboy hats, joined by camo truckers, Texas-centric beanies, and fold-over knits for full head-to-toe styling.
The capsule built on Pacsun’s growing relationship with Formula 1, which began in 2022 and has since become one of the retailer’s most visible cultural partnerships. Previous Austin collections tapped into vintage racing graphics and in-person fan activations, helping the brand strengthen its foothold in the increasingly intertwined worlds of sports and fashion. With Formula 1’s U.S. popularity soaring, Pacsun continued positioning itself at the center of the cultural crossover.
“Returning trackside in Austin with Formula 1 shows the strength of our continued partnership and our commitment to sports as a core pillar for Pacsun,” said Richard Cox, the brand’s Chief Merchandising Officer. “Each year, we evolve the collection, and this season’s desert graphics, denim, and western accessories bring a new edge to race-day style. Being onsite with fans lets us connect in real time and deliver pieces that feel true to the culture.”
Fans attending the Grand Prix found Pacsun’s activation inside the Fanzone at the Grand Plaza, featuring exclusive merchandise and immersive experiences tailored to racegoers.
The Pacsun Formula 1 United States Grand Prix 2025 Collection is still available on pacsun.com and in select stores nationwide, with additional exclusives offered at the track.
Pacsun and UFC Brought NYC Energy to Fans with New Capsule and Soho Takeover
Pacsun and UFC teamed up once again to merge fashion, culture, and fight-night hype as UFC returned to New York City for a major card. The brands dropped their UFC NYC Collection on November 8, unveiling a sleek lineup of apparel inspired by the grit, spirit, and street style of the city. The celebration continued on Thursday, November 13, when Pacsun transformed its Soho Flagship into a full-scale NYC bodega for a live fan activation featuring UFC star power.
Now in its third year, the Pacsun–UFC partnership had become one of the retailer’s strongest collaborations, resonating not only with Pacsun’s core community but also with UFC’s global fan base. The partnership underscored Pacsun’s growing focus on sports culture as a major brand pillar and reflected the ongoing demand for accessible, fashion-forward UFC merchandise.
The eight-piece capsule blended vintage aesthetics with modern athletic influences, paying homage to New York City through bold graphics and iconic landmarks. Tees, a zip jacket, a waffle long sleeve, and a knit jersey showcased UFC logos alongside the Statue of Liberty, the Manhattan skyline, and Madison Square Garden. Several pieces also highlighted the main-event fighters, Jack Della Maddalena and Islam Makhachev, offering fans both general and fighter-specific styles. Priced between $35 and $100 and available in sizes S–XL, the collection is still available at Pacsun.com.
“Our partnership with UFC continues to be a highlight for the Pacsun community, and central to our Sports brand pillar,” said Richard Cox, Chief Merchandising Officer at Pacsun. “Collaborating around big moments like VeChain UFC 322 allowed us to engage directly with the passionate fanbase and bring them closer to the energy of UFC fight weekend.”
The Soho takeover brought that energy to life. The store opened its doors at 10:45 a.m., inviting fans into a reimagined New York bodega setting. The first 30 guests gained access to an exclusive live podcast recording hosted by social media personality and UFC expert Nina Drama, joined by reigning two-time UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira. The session streamed live on Nina’s Kick channel and Pacsun’s Instagram, bringing the event to fans nationwide.
After the podcast, attendees met Nina and Pereira, shopped the new UFC capsule, and lined up for a claw machine giveaway offering a chance to win signed gloves, a signed walkout jersey, and tickets to VeChain UFC 322. With exclusive merch, athlete access, and immersive experiences, the event delivered a standout moment for UFC fans and fashion lovers alike.
