Burger King is releasing a limited-edition miniature bag as part of a promotion for its recently updated chicken nuggets.
The item, called "Le Nugguette," is designed to resemble a chicken nugget. The promotion begins Sept. 12 and runs through Sept. 16, with 100 bags available each day at noon Eastern time.
The bag costs $3.99, the same price as a four-piece order of Burger King chicken nuggets. Purchases are limited to one per household and will be available through a dedicated promotional website while supplies last.
Each purchase includes the miniature bag, one of four charms based on Burger King's dipping sauces — Honey Mustard, Buffalo, Sweet & Sour or the new Special Savory — and a code for a four-piece chicken nugget order.
Burger King introduced its updated chicken nuggets and revised sauces nationwide earlier in September. The company said the changes followed customer feedback collected through an ongoing listening initiative.
The promotion is part of the company's broader marketing campaign around the updated menu items.
Burger King was founded in 1954 and operates more than 19,000 restaurants in more than 120 countries and U.S. territories. Most locations are owned and operated by independent franchisees.
The limited-edition bags will be available until the daily supply is exhausted.
